“…The face of the Master was beautiful. It expressed quiet power, internal peace. His eye was deep, noble and clear. There was no split in it. The eyes expressed only one thought – love and disinterestedness. He had power and strength and was able to keep evil away, he comforted, encouraged, inspired faith and belief in God.
The Master held his head upright, walked freely and lightly, and his alertness showed in every movement he made. His whole body emanated harmonious naturalness. It rendered each of his acts beautiful and sincere. Each of his movements was beautiful and every act dignified.
His work is colossal in terms of volume and significance. He was a tireless worker, strict about his work, and at the same time a loving person. Moreover, he did his work simply and naturally as breathing. He seemed to do it all without any efforts.
Everyone felt one and the same thing; they became better in the presence of the Master. They all felt a sacred trepidation and deep respect. He enveloped everything with love and light. Everyone felt well with him.
There was a cosmic rhythm in the Master’s life. A kind of grand, bright, happy future penetrated everything the Master did and talked about – that long expected future people have dreamed of since time immemorial.
Yet, there was a sacred distance, which no one dared to cross. An internal law determined the distance of anyone who approached the Master. And although he was always surrounded by us, still he was lonely.”
